This policy and its procedures are intended to provide a framework for where capital expenditure is used to renew, improve, and attain new assets to enable the College to achieve its strategic objectives and support the delivery of services, including: 
  • dealing with maintenance, property capital development and improvements; 
  • ​plant and equipment improvements; 
  • technology improvements; and 
  • other specific projects which, in general, total $10,000 or more. 
Commercial Transactions Policy Thursday, 27 June, 2013

This policy is intended to give guidance to the operations personnel of the College, to ensure the integrity of all its commercial transactions as they relate to agreements, banking (including cash handling), inventory control, acquisitions and marketing and communications. This policy is supplemented by the attached document, Financial Policy and Procedure Manual.

Credit Card Use Policy Monday, 14 November, 2022

The purpose of this Credit Card Policy is to ensure that credit cards are issued and used appropriately for business-related expenses of both the Melbourne School of Theology and Eastern College Australia (the Colleges), and that all expenses incurred are properly approved and acquitted.

Finance Policy and Procedure Manual Monday, 28 November, 2022

All finance transactions as noted in this policy are to be authorised by the noted authorised person prior to the transaction being undertaken.
This policy is to be read in conjunction with other specific finance policies where relevant.
