The Executive Committee of the Eastern College Australia Board acts on behalf of the Board between Board meetings to deal with matters requiring prompt responses and/or action.
The Executive Committee of the Eastern College Australia Board acts on behalf of the Board between Board meetings to deal with matters requiring prompt responses and/or action.
a) Ex-officio: Chair, Deputy Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, Executive Principal
b) Directors: Nil
c) Committee Chair: Board Chair
The quorum for the committee shall be a majority of the members.
a) Meet as required between Board meetings to deal with issues that require prompt responses and /or actions.
b) Provide support to the Executive Principal.
Authorised to make decisions at the times when the Board is not meeting or if a matter is of such importance or urgency that it is not possible to convene a Board meeting.
a) The Executive has the authority to act only in accordance with terms of reference approved by the Eastern College Australia Board.
b) The Executive may not change its terms of reference but may submit proposed changes for consideration by the Eastern College Australia Board.
c) The Executive shall report fully to the Board the details of matters concerning which it has exercised its delegated authority. It shall attach copies of relevant department reports to its minutes when reporting to the Board.
