Fit and Proper Persons Policy Monday, 20 February, 2023

This policy and procedure is required to ensure that personnel recruited to key administrative positions in the College, or to the Governing Board of Eastern College Australia are fit and proper persons to conduct their delegated responsibilities within the College.

The policy and procedure is also required to ensure ongoing compliance with Chapter One, Provider Registration Standards of the Higher Education Standards Framework.

Flexible Working Arrangements Policy Monday, 29 January, 2024

The purpose of this policy is to outline provisions relating to formal and informal Flexible Working Arrangements as well as guidance for ECA staff and supervisors to follow in considering flexible working arrangements requests.

Mental Health Strategy and Implementation Plan Thursday, 24 February, 2022

Eastern acknowledges that good mental health is important to students’ academic success as well as to their general well-being – as it also is for our faculty and staff. With this in mind, and in response to Recommendation 8 of the Higher Education Standards Panel, Eastern has developed a Strategy to provide a sustainable approach to mental health promotion, protection and intervention for all College students and employees.
