Data Breach Policy Wednesday, 12 June, 2019

Eastern College Australia recognises the importance of ensuring that appropriate measures are in place to:

  • effectively respond to an actual or suspected data breach involving data or information in any form or medium held by the College (Data); and
  • ensure compliance with the relevant legislative framework under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (the Act) concerning personal information data breaches.

This Policy should be read in conjunction with the College’s Privacy Policy

To articulate and demonstrate Eastern College Australia's active commitment to its compliance requirements as well as measures put in place to ensure that all staff and students are kept informed of, and adhere to, relevant legislation. 

Sexual Assault and Sexual Harassment Procedure Monday, 20 September, 2021

To outline how persons can report SASH incidents, the support a person who reports SASH incidents will receive; and processes for responding to and preventing incidents of SASH.

Social Media Policy Monday, 4 March, 2024

To provide clarity to all College staff (including volunteers) on the College’s social media policy and how to conduct themselves on social media. It is not the intent of this policy to prohibit the use of social media by members of the College community.  Rather, the policy establishes clear standards and guidelines in relation to the use of social media, where such use potentially impacts adversely upon: the operations, interests or reputation of the College; individual members of the College community; relationships with or between members of the College community. 

Time in Lieu Policy Friday, 10 March, 2023

The purpose of this policy is to ensure that:

  • All supervisors and staff have an understanding of the use of time in lieu arrangements in the College.
  • All supervisors and staff are aware of the procedures for time in lieu.
  • All staff are treated consistently.
Volunteers Policy Wednesday, 17 January, 2024

The aim of the Policy is to outline the standards of behaviour, code of conduct and procedures expected of all volunteers at the College.
