Children on Campus Policy	Monday, 6 October, 2014	To give clear guidelines as to rights and responsibilities of staff, students and contractors regarding bringing children onto the College property.
Course Assurance Policy	Thursday, 1 December, 2022	This policy outlines how Eastern College Australia (the College) will mitigate disadvantage to students who are unable to progress/continue in a course of study due to unexpected or planned changes in the College's operations.
Fit and Proper Persons Policy	Monday, 20 February, 2023	This policy and procedure is required to ensure that personnel recruited to key administrative positions in the College, or to the Governing Board of Eastern College Australia are fit and proper persons to conduct their delegated responsibilities within the College. The policy and procedure is also required to ensure ongoing compliance with Chapter One, Provider Registration Standards of the Higher Education Standards Framework.
Flexible Working Arrangements Policy	Monday, 29 January, 2024	The purpose of this policy is to outline provisions relating to formal and informal Flexible Working Arrangements as well as guidance for ECA staff and supervisors to follow in considering flexible working arrangements requests.
Leave Policy	Thursday, 9 November, 2023	To outline staff leave entitlements and arrangements.
Legislation Awareness and Compliance Policy	Wednesday, 10 January, 2024	To articulate and demonstrate Eastern College Australia's active commitment to its compliance requirements as well as measures put in place to ensure that all staff and students are kept informed of, and adhere to, relevant legislation.
Marketing and Advertising Policy - VET	Friday, 7 March, 2025	This policy ensures that the College disseminates accurate and current information about itself and its services to the public, especially to all VET students - domestic, overseas, current, intending or prospective.
Mental Health Strategy and Implementation Plan	Thursday, 24 February, 2022	Eastern acknowledges that good mental health is important to students’ academic success as well as to their general well-being – as it also is for our faculty and staff. With this in mind, and in response to Recommendation 8 of the Higher Education Standards Panel, Eastern has developed a Strategy to provide a sustainable approach to mental health promotion, protection and intervention for all College students and employees.
Occupational Health and Safety Policy	Saturday, 21 October, 2023	This policy sets out the guiding principles to ensure the highest level of health, safety and wellbeing for staff, students and visitors.
Policy on Policy Development	Monday, 20 September, 2021	The Policy on Policy Development establishes a framework for creating and maintaining the College’s policies, procedures and guidelines.
Privacy Policy	Friday, 28 May, 2021	EASTERN Privacy Policy is based on the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) and is committed to protecting the privacy of all personal information. Personal information includes information about an individual whose identity is apparent, or can reasonably be ascertained, from the information. It includes “sensitive information”. “Sensitive information” includes information about an individual’s racial or ethnic origin, religious affiliation and health information. The College is bound by the Australian Privacy Principles (APP) contained in the Commonwealth Privacy Act 1988 and will collect, use and store personal information including any sensitive information, in accordance with those principles. The College is also bound by the Health Records Act 2001 (Vic) and for higher education students, the Tuition Protection (Up-front Payments Guidelines) 2020 and the Higher Education (Up‑front Payments Tuition Protection Levy) Act 2020.
Professional Development and Study Leave Policy	Monday, 30 April, 2018	This policy outlines the conditions and principles that apply to professional development and study leave for College staff.
Refund Policy	Tuesday, 13 October, 2020	To establish a policy that is reasonable in ensuring that Higher Education and VET students are not penalised unfairly in scenarios relating to their withdrawal from study.
Sexual Assault and Sexual Harassment Policy	Monday, 20 September, 2021	To outline what behaviours constitute sexual assault or sexual harassment and to set out how the College will respond to incidents. The policy also provides a framework for providing a safe environment for students and staff in relation to incidents of sexual assault and sexual harassment.
Staff Study Discount Policy	Monday, 18 March, 2024	This policy outlines the conditions and principles that apply to Staff Study Discount for College staff, board members and their immediate families (spouses and children).
Student Records Management and Archiving Policy	Thursday, 9 February, 2023	This Records Management and Archiving Policy is necessary to ensure the safety, security and confidentiality of its student and administrative records
Termination of Employment Policy	Tuesday, 3 January, 2023	This Termination of Employment Policy outlines the arrangements applicable when termination of employment is initiated by staff members or Eastern College Australia (ECA).
Time in Lieu Policy	Friday, 10 March, 2023	The purpose of this policy is to ensure that: All supervisors and staff have an understanding of the use of time in lieu arrangements in the College. All supervisors and staff are aware of the procedures for time in lieu. All staff are treated consistently.
Volunteers Policy	Wednesday, 17 January, 2024	The aim of the Policy is to outline the standards of behaviour, code of conduct and procedures expected of all volunteers at the College.
Wages and Salary Policy	Friday, 2 August, 2024	This policy outlines the basis and conditions that Eastern College Australia apply to Staff Wages and Salaries.
